It's way, way, way too hot in Vegas. My Irish blood is rebelling. Think I'll stay in NYC for a while. and by "a while", I mean like... six months.

Glad nothing happened on our side of the world though. lots of shite down in Las Vegas, but unscathed over
Work's easier in the summer, at least, since I can pull off more deliveries without slipping and breaking my skull on the pavement. means more money to spoil the girlfriend with. A+ all around.

I doubt I would have ever made it through university if I owned this notebook then. Too many bloody distractions.
Advantages to being out of uni: - No more assignments - work ends when I'm done for the day. - No more being graded. - Fewer mindless pricks. Funny, really; the percentage of idiots in school is remarkably high.

And I can't decide whether or not this journal thing is affecting my job or not. I was almost late on my route the other day because of reading it; a coworker ended up asking if I shouldn't switch to motorcycle courier instead, and I could've hit him with the package for the sheer offense. bicycles are faster in the middle of the city. more freedom and all. Don't you dare insinuate being trapped on a motorbike in rush hour would be better. (asshole.)

The hell.
Overslept this morning. Didn't have time for breakfast or lunch. Was on en route this afternoon, absolutely starving, and I decided to stop my bike at a park and have a late brunch. Totally famished. Get a massive seafood sandwich. Looks heavenly.
Then birds swoop down and take it.
